Video Editing Steps

create a new bin inside the footage bin for each new timeline

import the timeline & clips into the new bin

add the input lut to all video clips

select all the video clips (Ctrl+A)

right click > LUT > Leeming LUT Pro > Leeming LUT Pro - Panasonic Cine-D

loudness normalize all audio clips independently

select all the clips (Ctrl+A)
-
right click > Normalize Audio Levels
-
display audio channels for all audio clips
-
select all the video clips (Ctrl+A)
-
right click > Display Individual Audio Channels

mute the audio linked to the video clips
-
Set up the audio tracks and main bus using the presets library, add the lufs meter to each, and the limiter to the main bus
-
edit everything as needed
-
loudness normalize all audio clips relatively (same track same scene)

select all the clips (Ctrl+A)

right click > Normalize Audio Levels

loudness normalize all audio tracks
-
bounce the main bus to a new track to affect everything and speed it up
-
the first time bounce with only de-reverb enabled to set gain
-
the second time bounce with everything up to noise reduction enabled to set gain
-
the third time bounce with everything up to mic correction enabled to set gain
-
the forth time bounce with everything up to machine compression & vocal compression enabled to set gain
-
loudness normalize the main bus
-
bounce the main bus to a new track to affect everything and speed it up
-
if needed set gain on the main bus
-
add transitions to the video clips as needed
-
color grade everything as needed
-
update the title in the intro
-
set up the master timeline
-
loudness normalize the master timeline's main bus
-
bounce the main bus to a new track to affect everything and speed it up
-
if needed set gain on the main bus
-
render the master timeline

create thumbnail
